Have you ever been to a departmental
store and wished that you could've taken home everything?
Sometimes we do fantasize these kind of things but never admit it.
Now imagine all the Goa beaches with all its sand and the sea in a
departmental store (it's kind of self-flattering statement but we, at
Vacations India, claim to be that store) ... and here there are no limits
... oh ... we forgot the long palm fringed trees.
Well, you can have it all for you and your family and have the perfect
beach getaway for yourself. Others at their best choose good places for you
whereas Vacations India even chooses the surroundings for you for that
relaxed holiday with gay abandon that you yearn for. We present Goa spirit
like nobody else does and you get a never before chance to be enveloped by
Goa beaches at their soothing best. Goa has almost become a shrine on the
tourism calendar of the foreigners. Ever wondered about the fact that we
celebrate all the seasons for one reason or the other? Now is the time to
celebrate the vacation season with Vacations India.
The beaches of Goa have a certain charm to themselves that has refused to
wane. If all the charming things made by God are written in a list, we are
sure that Goa beaches would figure somewhere among the toppers.
Western Ghats and the Arabian sea caress Goa from both eastern and western
sides. Goa has a coastline that is about 100 km long and it is sprayed with
some of the most beautiful beaches ... and that is not all, the place is
pretty well connected with all the major cities of India.
The main important beaches among those
that we are going to cover at Vacations India are :
Only 18 km away from the capital
Panjim, the foreign languages palpitate endlessly in the breeze of Anjuna
Beach as you see the crowd of raving tourists having whale of a time in this
former Portuguese colony. They often wish if only they could have
transported this enchanting place to their country. The place is famous for
its full moon beach parties that go on all through the night.
Unbelievable, but true ... there is a
30 km stretch of a beach in Goa and Baga beach consists only a part of it.
Only 15 km away from Pamjim, this beach is not that well known as the nearby
Calangute Beach. On the northern side of the beach, a river meets the sea
which also makes for a good sight for the tourists.
Situated 7 km west of Margao, this
place was barely known among the backpackers and now it boasts of every
facility that a well known tourist place should have. The fields are giving
way to resorts but right now this place is ideal to have a lazy and relaxing
vacation ... so, make the most of it.
Vagator is the nearest neighbour of
Anjuna beach and you can come here via the Mapusa Road through the east.
Before you reach the sea, all you'll find here are the handful of small
guesthouses and restaurants. It is a white sandy and relaxed beach and is
for that traveller who has some time on his hands.
This is a beautiful beach which has a
stream passing through it. The villas around it are Portuguese in style and
huts of the local fisher folks complete the picture. The area that is nearer
the beach is somewhat different though as it has it all when it comes to
providing facilities to the discerning tourists. Facilities such as hotels,
stalls and bars dot the beach front.
The serenity and length of this beach
compared to other beaches is quite noticeable and it extends up to the more
commercialized Calangute beach. The village nearby is not centralized at one
place which adds to the feeling of peacefulness of this beach. There are
many starred as well as non starred hotels here. The beach is connected by
road with Mapusa and Calangute.
