Goa as a Vacation Destination
Remember how happy you happen to be
when you get to party? Well, it's always party time in Goa. That exactly
sums up the spirit of Goa. This exotic destination is equally attractive to
both Indians and foreigners. The climate of Goa remains pleasant throughout
the year that enables you to come to Goa any moment whenever it suits you
and your family or group. No wonder if people often believe that entire Goa
is a huge beach.
It's but natural for you to think that
Goa has nothing to offer apart from beaches. But make no mistake, there is a
lot more in store for you. Temples, churches ... you haven't seen anything
at all. Devotees throng these temples from all around to pay obeisance to
God. Temples went through a hard time when Goa was attacked by the
Portuguese but somehow the local population managed to save their heritage.
The architecture of the temples are simple but striking. The Portuguese
rulers have left their legacy in the form of many traditions, buildings and
especially in the churches that they have built. These churches add to the
beauty of already beautiful Goa. So next time when you are making the list
of places that you want to go to, well ... Goa will definitely top the list.
A sense of ease, fun and boundless
comfort ... this is what a vacation is all about and that's what we at
Vacations India endeavour to provide you at your Goa vacations. Goa offers
some of the finest beaches to the world and there are so many ways in which
you can have whale of a time. You can simply indulge in sunbathing or water
sports, depending upon your mood. Goa also has some of the most splendid of
the lakes which can be ideal picnic spots for you and your family. Also
called as Pearl of the east, the tiny state has friendly people and buzzing
nightlife. Every festival is celebrated with great fervour and you can plan
your holidays keeping these festivals in the mind. February and March are
the months when a festival Shigmo, which is very similar to Holi, is
celebrated. The Goa Carnival is celebrated in the month of February and is
considered the festival of festivals when all other activities in rest of
the Goa come to a rest and party goes on for three days. We haven't talked
about the cruising experience in Goa as yet but when we do the fun will be
no less. Just make sure that you get to watch the ethereal sunset.

you can view the dolphins in their natural environs, that too from the
comfort of the yacht.
- You can go over river Mandovi on a hovercraft or if it doesn't
appeal to you, then try water sports at the Baga beach.
- Visit Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary, 60 km from Panaji, the largest
